Our story · Fargo, North Dakota

Level up
every meal.

Olive Acre started the way a lot of good things do — in my own kitchen. I love food that's simple but full of flavor. A little chipotle olive oil worked into ground beef, a splash of peach balsamic in a steak marinade, frozen vegetables sautéed in lemon olive oil — small moves that turn an ordinary dinner into something worth slowing down for, whether I'm cooking for myself, my kids, or guests.

Why it matters

We've been reaching for good oil and balsamic for years, and I've become convinced it belongs on more kitchen counters — not just for the flavor, but because it's a cleaner, purer, healthier ingredient to build a meal around.

That belief got personal when my son turned out to have food sensitivities, including dairy. We needed good fats and a better way to bring a little sweetness to his plate — so he could get the nutrients he needs and still enjoy the sweeter things in life. Quality oils and balsamics became part of that answer.

Made for this community

And in the Fargo–Moorhead area, we saw room for something focused specifically on olive oil and balsamic — a place where local families can explore a rotating selection of flavors and keep discovering new favorites. That’s the gap Olive Acre is here to fill. These products are the heart of what we do, and the goal is simple: bring more flavor to local kitchens with bottles worth coming back for.

From the farm to your table

I grew up on a farm north of Fargo, North Dakota, and I’ve always appreciated knowing where something comes from and how it gets into the hands of the people who use it. That’s part of what drew me to olive oil and balsamic. I don’t grow the olives or press the oil myself, but I can be intentional about the products I bring in, how they’re cared for, and how they get to you, whether that’s across the table at a market or shipped to your door.
